Owner Autumn Poulin has enjoyed working in
the wedding and event business for over 10 years as a floral designer
and owner of fleur de lis. When a Chocolate
Fountain shown on the Food Network caught her eye
in early 2004 she knew that it was something wonderful that
she
needed
to research and make available in Maine and Seacoast
NH.
After much research we purchased our first fountain
in November of 2004, by December we had placed our
order for
our second fountain and turned our attention to
getting the word out about this wonderful addition
to wedding receptions and events. We now own 5 fountains
and
have been
thoroughly
enjoying the reaction of all of those who are experiencing
a fountain for the first time.
Our Service ~
We are a full-service fountain rental business.
We are not in the catering business, we can provide
dipping items
for the fountain if requested by the facility
but for the most part we deal with the rental of the
fountain,
chocolate
and skewers. Most importantly, we set-up, break-down
and attend our fountains. Each fountain package
includes a specified
amount of time with a professional attendant who
will be responsible for helping guests enjoy the
fountain, i.e. proper dipping
technique, fountain etiquette, passing napkins/plates
and refilling fountain with chocolate if needed.
We pride ourselves
in customer service and guarantee a non-disruptive
set-up and breakdown of the fountain during a
reception.
Our Fountains ~
We offer 3 different sizes of attended fountains;
Small, Med and Large. Each of the multi-tiered
stainless steel fountains
includes a heating element and motor, which
draws chocolate up the pedestal to the top. It elegantly
flows down the tiers
as guests dip fresh fruit, etc. into the cascade.
The
following is a breakdown of which
fountain would be the best choice
for your event:
Small
~ up to 100 guests
Medium ~ 75 to 300 guests
Large ~ 300+ guests

Our Chocolate ~
All chocolate is not the same! Rich coverture
chocolate high in cocoa butter is required
to keep the fountains
flowing flawlessly. We have tested several
different brands of fountain chocolate to find what we feel is
the best for our customers enjoyment.
There are less-expensive
chocolates
available that require
a large amount of oil to be added to allow it to flow down the
fountain properly, we feel it is better
to spend a
bit more on
a chocolate that does not require
the addition of oil and deliver a higher quality product. We
offer clients the choice of dark, milk or white
chocolate with
dark being the most popular.
Facility
Requirements ~
All that is required from the facility
is a sturdy, level table within 8ft
to an electrical outlet and enough
cocktail napkins and dessert plates
for the number
of guests being served.
It is nice to have an additional table
cloth or 2 that matches the décor
of the event to wrap around the base of the fountain for decorative
purposes but it is not necessary.
